Toni Ruiz, new chief executive officer of Mango    

  • The executive has sat on the Board of Directors since 2015 and has led the transformation of the company.

    Mango has appointed Toni Ruiz as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Ruiz has sat on Mango’s Board of Directors since 2015, when he joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer. He occupied this role until October 2018, when he was appointed General Manager of the company.

    With this decision, the owners of Mango is recognising and strengthening the leadership role exercised by Toni Ruiz in the transformation of the company, which it will need to continue in the coming years.

    Following this appointment, Toni Ruiz will occupy the top executive position within the company. Isak Andic will continue to chair the Mango Board of Directors, which also includes Daniel López, director of Expansion and Franchises and Jonathan Andic, director of Man, Image and Communication.

    The Steering Committee is made up of Elena Carasso, director of Online and Customer; Luis Casacuberta, director of Woman and Kids; Josep Barberà, CFO; David Gutiérrez, global director of Persons; Jordi Álex Moreno, CTO; Antonio Pascual, global director of the Supply Chain and César de Vicente, global director of Retail.

    Toni Ruiz has a degree Economics from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Economics and Company Management from the IESE Business School. He has spent much of his career in the company Leroy Merlin, part of the Adeo group, where he was the Chief Financial Officer for the brand in Spain and also occupied the position of Director of Global Planning and Control.
