MANGO, one of the leading international fashion brands, is strengthening its presence in the home sector with the upcoming opening of its first MANGO Home store in the Basque Country, in Bilbao. Located at 1 Rodríguez Arias Street on the ground floor of the luxury residential building Acrux, the new store has a sales area of almost 320 m². It reinforces the home line's position in the Spanish market by conceiving the space as an authentic home where customers can discover pieces for every room and enjoy a warm and inspiring shopping experience.
Since its launch in 2021, MANGO Home has more than tripled in size and now operates in over 30 online markets, primarily in Europe and the United States, as well as physical stores in Spain. The new opening in Bilbao is fully aligned with the objectives of its 4E Strategic Plan 2024-2026, through which the company is reinforcing its commitment to physical stores as spaces for direct connection with its customers. With this strategy, the brand expects to exceed ten directly operated MANGO Home stores in Spain by the end of 2026.
The new space in Bilbao is designed to feel like a home. Spanning nearly 320 square metres, the store features an exclusive collaboration with Julen Ussia, a Basque designer and ceramicist, created specifically to celebrate the line's arrival in the city. Inspired by the Basque Country's ceramic tradition, this collection reinterprets antique serving jugs to create everyday objects inspired by the use of water, using clay and a colour palette that reinforces the connection to local heritage in a simple and timeless way. In this unique setting, visitors can discover the brand's offerings through an inspiring journey through every room of a house: from the living room, kitchen, and dining room to the bedroom, bathroom, and kids' room.
MANGO in the Basque Country
Nuria Font, Director of MANGO Home, said: 'Arriving in Bilbao represents a major milestone in our expansion strategy. We are committed to the enormous potential of this line and, with our first store in the Basque Country, we are bringing our contemporary and welcoming home universe to an ever-wider audience. We want to offer a unique and inspiring shopping experience that helps our customers bring personality to every corner of their home'.
The arrival of MANGO Home in Bilbao will boost the city's commercial dynamism and create 12 new jobs. This opening reinforces the MANGO group's established presence in Bilbao, where it currently has seven points of sale across all the brand's lines. The company has 18 stores in the Basque Country, totalling more than 6,340 square metres of retail space.
MANGO Home's value proposition
The MANGO Home catalogue is designed to inspire every room.
