Mango, one of the leading international fashion brands, launches Craft Your Future, a programme that aims to train technical professionals to be able to face the challenges of the fashion industry through a practical and collaborative methodology applied to today's challenges.

The course, developed in collaboration with the LCI Barcelona School of Design, one of the most prestigious in the sector, seeks to address one of the great challenges in fashion: the lack of generational replacement in key disciplines such as pattern making or tailoring that require artisanal precision, creativity and adaptation to the needs of the 21st century.

The course, subsidised by Mango and held at LCI Barcelona, lasts five months and offers practical and collaborative training applied to real-world environments. This first edition will have approximately twenty participants, including fashion design students seeking technical specialisation in pattern making and industrial garment construction, and young professionals looking to update their skills in digital and sustainable processes.

The initiative is part of Mango's 4E Strategic Plan, specifically its first "E," Elevate, which highlights the company's craft and differentiated design approach. Through this lever, Mango reinforces its commitment to aspirationalism, quality and the creation of a unique style conceived in Barcelona, with sustainability as a core principle.

“The craft has been part of our identity for 40 years: it’s the know-how that gives value to the fashion industry and is at the heart of everything we do at Mango. With Craft Your Future we want to open up this knowledge to the sector and pass it on to new generations, helping to ensure generational renewal in essential trades and offering real training and professional development opportunities to young talent,” explains Blanca Muñiz, Mango’s Brand Director, about the aim of the programme.

During the course, students will increase their knowledge of industrial pattern making, advanced garment construction, digital prototyping and quality control processes, combining innovation, sustainability and technical development. The curriculum is structured into four modules that address industry challenges and sustainability, garment industrialisation and quality control processes, digital design and prototyping, and a final project in which students will develop real prototypes to present to a professional panel of judges.

The programme will also have a committee of experts made up of professionals from fashion, education and communication, who will oversee the evolution of the project and ensure that the training responds to the real needs of the industry.

For over four decades, Mango has inspired the world with its differentiated fashion proposition, characterised by a unique style and design. All garments are designed and crafted at the Mango Campus atelier in Barcelona, where more than 500 design, pattern-making, and garment-making professionals transform major global trends into a unique visual language. Traditional crafts, pattern making, cutting, sewing and quality control are key to this creative and technical process, ensuring that each collection reflects the latest trends and meets the highest standards of quality and durability.
