Last night in Paris, Mango, one of Europe’s leading fashion brands, launched its latest collaboration with Camille Charrière: Camille x Mango. A limited-edition collection, made up of more than 60 garments and accessories, which combines the vibrant lifestyle and bold stylings of the presenter and writer. The new collection is made up of garments that include dresses, coats and accessories to create party looks. The launch of the collection first took place at Hôtel de la Monnaie, and concluded at the prestigious Lyceé Henri IV, two baroque-style venues located in the French capital.
To celebrate this new collection, the core of the Mango community attended the launch: celebrities such as XXX and XXX were present at the event. The DJ set was performed by Lukas Ionesco & Julia at Hôtel de la Monnaie, and by Agathe Mougin and Pascal Moscheni at the afterparty at Lyceé Henri IV.
The chef Naiara Sabandar was responsible for the dinner, which offered the guests dishes prepared with mainly French ingredients.
Fashion and design took centre stage at the event, demonstrating the importance of these two elements for Mango, a brand with a global vision and a unique fashion proposal that features style and quality as differentiating values.
New Camille x Mango collection
Camille Charrière explains that “the collection is a selection of garments that I own and wear on a regular basis. It is the essence of my style. We have even included a version of the dress I wore at my wedding reception”.
The pieces in the collection have an urban and relaxed style, with a 2000s air and inspired by vintage garments. It features all types of fabrics, such as sequins, feathers and satin, combined with unexpected fabrics, such as poplin or denim striped shirts.
A large part of the collection is made up of spectacular dresses, such as the silver hauberk dress or the semi-transparent crystal dress, a must for the festive season. There are also several tailored garments with very modern designs, as well as leather coats and garments, which complete the collection with a contemporary result.
The campaign
Each piece in this exclusive collection irradiates Camille’s unique sense of style and transports you to the iconic nightlife of the late 90s and early 2000s. This is reflected in the campaign, in which her closest friends and companions on long nights full of adventure Abby Wilson, Georgia Hodway, Kesewa Aboha and MV Tiangue also participate.
The director Felix Cooper captured the images of the campaign, which was produced by Camille’s husband, François Larpin, to make the result a true reflection of her universe. The campaign reflects how anything can happen in a single night. Like her, it embraces the unexpected and allows the magic to happen.
Mango has collaborated with other brands, artists and talents on previous occasions. Other collaborations include those with Chufy, André Saraiva, Leandra Medine and, more recently, Pernille Teisbaek. Through this project, the firm is strengthening the ties that unite its community, while feeding off the personality and value offered by a fresh perspective and new interpretation of Mango’s Mediterranean style.
