MANGO, one of the global leaders in fashion, has announced the appointment of Sara Donninelli as its new Chief Brand Officer and member of the company’s Management Committee, replacing Blanca Muñiz, who has decided to begin a new professional chapter outside the company. MANGO thanks her for her significant contribution to the brand.

Donninelli will assume the role in the coming weeks, taking over the leadership of the Elevate pillar of the 4E 2024–2026 Strategic Plan. Under this roadmap, focused on aspiration and differentiation, MANGO has already achieved significant milestones. In the last year alone, the company increased its brand value by 26%, according to the Kantar BrandZ 2025 ranking.

The new director joins MANGO in 2026 following a successful career of more than 20 years in several companies within the luxury fragrance and cosmetics sector, including Estée Lauder, Coty and L’Oréal. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Politecnico di Milano and has specialized in brand building and luxury portfolio growth in fragrances, makeup and skincare, combining strategy, storytelling and product development in global environments.

Donninelli has developed much of her professional career scaling high-end brands. Before joining MANGO, she served as Senior Vice President and Global General Manager at The Estée Lauder Companies, leading brands such as Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, driving their international development and strengthening their global positioning. Previously, she held several leadership roles within The Estée Lauder Companies, contributing to the global growth of brands such as Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty.

Throughout her career, she has also held positions of increasing responsibility at Coty, working with brands such as Calvin Klein and Tiffany & Co., and at L’Oréal Luxe, where she managed product and brand strategies for brands including Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney and Biotherm.

“It is an honor to join a company with the trajectory and ambition of MANGO. After years holding leadership positions in luxury brands, I take on this challenge with the enthusiasm of bringing my global and strategic vision. My goal is to enhance the brand’s unique DNA and continue elevating its value proposition to connect emotionally with our community around the world,” said Sara Donninelli.

Under her leadership, and reporting directly to President and CEO Toni Ruiz, Donninelli will contribute vision and strategy to achieve the objectives of the Brand division. This appointment also falls under the Empower pillar of MANGO’s 2024–2026 Strategic Plan, reaffirming the company’s commitment to attracting the best talent to ensure the success and execution of its future roadmap.
