Mango sponsors the 40th edition of the 2026 Goya Awards in Barcelona

  • The company, an international benchmark in the world of fashion, will be the primary sponsor of the Goya Awards for the first time and will have a prominent corporate presence on the gala's red carpet, in addition to dressing various personalities from the film industry.
  • To engage the public with this event, Mango will carry out various promotional activities on social media and in iconic stores in the city, such as decorating its shop windows with the awards' official imagery.
  • The initiative is part of Mango's 4E strategic plan, and specifically, its first 'E', Elevate, which aims to offer a distinctive value proposition for the company and enhance its brand positioning by linking it to the film industry.
  • Furthermore, through this agreement, Mango reinforces its commitment to strengthening ties with Barcelona, the city that houses its headquarters and will host the 40th edition of the Goya Awards on 28 February 2026 — twenty-five years after it last hosted the event — supporting the cultural, social, and economic activity of the Catalan capital.

Mango, an international benchmark in the world of fashion, has reached a strategic agreement with the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences to become, for the first time in its history, one of the primary sponsors of the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, which will be held on 28 February at the Barcelona International Convention Centre auditorium (Auditori Fòrum – CCIB).

As part of this collaboration, the brand, which will feature all its lines, will play a key role in the aesthetics of the ceremony by dressing different personalities from the film world, as well as the brand's official ambassadors and friends. They will showcase Mango's essence through the brand's formal designs during their walk down the red carpet, strengthening Mango's role as a benchmark in the fashion industry.

To engage the public with this event, Mango will carry out various promotional activities on social media and in iconic stores in the city, such as decorating its shop windows with the awards' official imagery.

Additionally, the brand will also be present at the red carpet photo call and during all the pre-gala activities and urban events taking place in the days leading up to the ceremony.

With this collaboration, we aim to highlight Spanish cinema in the context of its most important celebration, which this year will take place in Barcelona to mark the 40th anniversary of the Goya Awards. Through this initiative, Mango reaffirms its commitment to fashion and culture, as well as its longstanding connection to the city where we were founded, a city that is now an essential part of our identity and our DNA,” said Doris Casares, Global Chief of Communications and Corporate Affairs at Mango.

Commitment to cinema and Barcelona

The initiative is part of Mango's 4E strategic plan, and specifically, its first 'E', Elevate, which aims to offer a distinctive value proposition for the company and enhance its brand positioning by linking it to the film industry.  By joining the 40th edition of the Goya Awards, the company consolidates its presence in a prestigious showcase and reaffirms its commitment to Spain's creative talent and its international reach. This sponsorship unites two of Spain's greatest cultural assets, fashion and film, in a gala that places Barcelona at the epicentre of the global art scene.

Mango's inclusion in the pool of sponsors also reflects the group's commitment to strengthening ties with the regions where it has a presence, particularly Barcelona, the city that houses the company's headquarters and that will host the Goya Awards more than a quarter of a century after last doing so, in a symbolic edition. Through this agreement, Mango supports the cultural, social, and economic activity of the Catalan capital.
