MANGO expands its Polygone store and strengthens its longstanding ties with Montpellier

  • MANGO continues to strengthen its presence in Montpellier and the Occitanie region with the reopening of its store at the Polygone shopping centre. This reopening reflects MANGO's ambition to establish the city as a major hub in the region, where it currently operates over 25 stores, including 4 in Montpellier.
  • Following a 70 sqm expansion, the Montpellier Polygone store now spans over 800 sqm, employs 20 people and features MANGO's signature New Med store concept, a Mediterranean-inspired design that reflects the brand's spirit and freshness, with sustainability and architecture at its core. The store will continue to offer the Woman, Man and Kids lines.
  • Reaffirming the strategic importance of France as the company's largest international market, this investment supports MANGO's broader omnichannel strategy. It also aligns with the commitments announced at the Choose France Summit in June 2026, including €66 million in investments in France and the opening of 45 new stores between 2026 and 2028.
  • Present in France since 1994, MANGO operates more than 250 points of sale across the country, alongside a digital presence through its own e-commerce website.

MANGO, one of the leading international fashion brands, is strengthening its presence in France with the reopening of its Montpellier Polygone store, following an expansion project. This reopening reflects MANGO's ambition to establish the city as a major hub in Occitanie, where it currently operates over 25 stores, including 4 in Montpellier.

Following a 70 m² expansion, the Montpellier Polygone store now spans over 800 m² and continues to offer the Woman, Man and Kids lines, featuring a selection of clothing, footwear and accessories all designed at MANGO's atelier in Barcelona by a team of 500 experts. Combining timeless and versatile staples with more stylish contemporary pieces influenced by the brand's Mediterranean heritage, MANGO's collections reflect the brand's commitment to superior quality and elegant design.

The renovated store also features MANGO's New Med concept, an interior design inspired by the brand's Mediterranean heritage and culture, with natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials that create a bright and welcoming shopping space. The concept reimagines the store as a welcoming, contemporary Mediterranean home, while incorporating services designed to deliver a seamless customer experience.

This reopening forms part of MANGO's 4E 2024–2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to reinforce the company's differentiated value proposition, with a strong expansion drive and sales growth across existing stores and its online channel.

Last June, at the Choose France Summit, MANGO announced a €66 million investment in France between 2026 and 2028 to open 45 new stores. This investment reflects the company's long-term commitment to the French market and will support the expansion and enhancement of its store network across the country. The plan includes 15 new store openings per year, creating approximately 15 jobs per store. These openings will be spread across major cities as well as medium-sized and small towns, bringing MANGO to 10 new cities.

The expansion plan builds on MANGO's strong performance in 2025, when global turnover reached €3.8 billion, up 13% year on year (16% at constant exchange rates). This momentum continued in the first half of 2026, with global revenue reaching €1.852 billion, up 7.2% compared with the same period last year and 10.7% at constant exchange rates.

MANGO in France

MANGO has been present in France for more than three decades. The company opened its first store in the country in Montpellier in 1994, establishing strong ties with the Occitanie region. MANGO subsequently focused its initial expansion on other major cities, including Paris, Toulouse, Lille, Nîmes and Strasbourg.

In the late 2000s, the company opened some of its most significant flagship stores in France. These included stores spanning over 1,100 sqm on Boulevard Haussmann and in La Défense, in the French capital, as well as locations in the République area of Lyon and the Rivetoile shopping centre in Strasbourg.

During the 2010s, MANGO further expanded its retail footprint across France, focusing on medium-sized cities. Since 2022, it has continued to consolidate its position in the country, adding approximately 12,500 sqm of retail space.

France is now MANGO's largest international market, second only to Spain. The company ended 2025 with more than 250 points of sale across the country, representing over 100,000 sqm of retail space, alongside an online presence through its own e-commerce website and third-party platforms.
