Mango, one of Europe's leading fashion groups, has announced the appointment of Jochen Grosspietsch as its new Supply Chain Chief Officer to lead the transformation of the supply chain, in order to further strengthen the company's position as one of Europe's leading fashion groups and continue to consolidate its international presence. The executive, who will join the company this October, has extensive experience in supply chain management and transformation.

Grosspietsch will report directly to the CEO, Toni Ruiz, and will be responsible for ensuring optimal day-to-day operations, as well as generating the necessary transformation for the future, in order to continue bringing Mango fashion to its customers, irrespective of the format, location or time.

The new appointment is part of the Strategic Plan 2024-2026 that Mango presented last March, which focuses on the product and in-house design as spearheads, on innovation as a core value and on the commitment to the international expansion of the company and the sales of its online channel, among others.

With a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Münster University, Grosspietsch has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management and transformation, leading projects in logistics and store operational improvements, inventory optimisation and strategy definition. He started his career in consulting at McKinsey & Company where, as a partner in Barcelona and leader of the Consumer Operations Practice in Europe, he led projects for retail and consumer goods clients. Subsequently, he was Chief Supply Chain Officer and member of the Board of Directors of the food distribution company Lekkerland (present in Spain under the Conway brand) and is now joining Mango after working for the last few years as an independent consultant focusing on the application of technology in the supply chain. Among other roles, he is a member of the Executive Council of the technology company o9 Solutions.
