MANGO strengthens its partnership with the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó and renews its sponsorship through 2028

  • The company is strengthening its ties with the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó, which this year is holding its 73rd edition, and with the city of Barcelona, in line with its commitment to building closer relationships with the communities in which it operates.
  • For the tournament, MANGO has designed an exclusive collection inspired by classic tennis club attire to dress the organisation members and staff (450 people in this edition).
  • The brand has also launched various initiatives linked to the world of tennis, such as the appointment of Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud as global ambassador for MANGO Man since 2025, as well as the launch of the Mango Tennis Club capsule collection, which combines the classic aesthetic of tennis clubs with the company's signature contemporary style.

MANGO, one of the leading international fashion groups, strengthens its partnership with the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó and renews its sponsorship as technical sponsor for a further three years, until the 2028 edition. With this renewal, the company reinforces its ties with one of the landmark events on Barcelona's sporting calendar — the city where MANGO was born and from which it shapes its creative and business endeavours.

As part of this agreement, MANGO has designed an exclusive collection inspired by classic tennis club attire to dress more than 450 members of the organisation and tournament staff — including ball kids, line judges, public-facing teams, and organisational staff — present both on the courts and across the various areas of the venue.

The uniforms combine functionality, comfort, and style. On-court staff are dressed in polos, windbreakers, sweatshirts, technical trainers, and caps. Other personnel, such as access control staff and event hosts, wear blazers, shirts, waistcoats, and trench coats. The garments are made with breathable, thermoregulating fabrics and feature quick-dry finishes and technical materials that provide protection against water, wind, and odours, ensuring comfort and freedom of movement throughout the tournament.

Since the beginning of the collaboration, MANGO has driven various initiatives linked to the tournament and the world of tennis, such as the launch of the MANGO Tennis Club capsule, a collection that combines the classic aesthetic of tennis clubs with the brand's signature contemporary style and includes polos, skirts, shorts with retro details, and tennis shoes.

MANGO, sponsor of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell

In 2023, MANGO signed an agreement with the Real Club de Tenis de Barcelona-1899 to become the technical sponsor of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó, which this year is holding its 73rd edition. With the renewal, the company extends this collaboration until 2028, for a total of six consecutive seasons, and strengthens its long-standing relationship with the tournament, with which it previously collaborated between 2011 and 2013.

This sponsorship reinforces MANGO's commitment to initiatives that connect fashion, culture, and lifestyle. The brand's presence at one of the most iconic tournaments on the ATP Tour reflects its commitment to supporting events that are part of the international cultural and sporting calendar.

Aligned with this initiative, MANGO has enlisted Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud — winner of the 2024 tournament and also a participant in this edition — as its global ambassador for MANGO Man since 2025. Ruud embodies values that connect high-level sport with fashion: precision, consistency, and attention to style down to the smallest detail. He also stars in the campaign for the Essentials collection of MANGO's menswear line.

Through this partnership, the company shares its collection with the public through garments designed to combine style and functionality, reinforcing its link with the world of tennis and the values associated with the sport.

A commitment to Barcelona

The renewal of the Trofeo Conde de Godó sponsorship reflects the group's commitment to building closer relationships with the communities in which it operates, particularly with Barcelona, the city where the company was born and from which it shapes its creative and business endeavours. Involvement in landmark events such as this tournament is part of the company's aim to continue to promote Barcelona's talent, creativity, and style internationally.
